About Our Case Study
El Centro Del Pueblo (ECDP) is a nonprofit community center in Echo Park, Los Angeles that serves 4,000+ families annually. Their location off Sunset Blvd. makes them especially vulnerable to air pollution.
After 4 hours of running the Vita 1.0, we captured 86,000 micrograms of particulate air pollution.
The case study is sponsored by the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator and the Larta Institute.
“As a former athlete and current resident, I think of how many kids at El Centro Del Pueblo would benefit from having clean air to play in.”
Paul Bower,
Echo Park Council
